Where funding comes from
Funding at Lengau is rooted in member contributions, internal lending surplus, and the Society’s own productive projects — not outside investment products.
The cooperative ecosystem described on this site starts with communal savings. Structured monthly contributions create a pool. Internal lending generates surplus that stays with members.
That pool is directed toward member services and productive activity: distribution of staples such as maize meal, business support, and community assets the Society has already named — including hospitality properties, a filling station, guesthouses, and Lengau Maize Meal.
Lengau is explicit that it is not an investment scheme and does not offer investment products. Funding for the ecosystem is participation-based, not a promise of market returns.
