Cross-Border Activities
Lengau People's Society may operate or intend to operate across SADC. South African law may govern the South African entity and its South African activities, while activities conducted in another country may also be subject to that country's laws, licences, registrations and regulatory requirements.
South African registration does not automatically authorise financial or commercial activity in every SADC country.
Company registration, NCR registration and other South African credentials relate to the South African entity and to activities that are actually conducted under South African law. They are not a blanket licence for credit, savings, membership, product distribution or other regulated activity in another jurisdiction.
Where a local entity is registered (for example a co-operative in another SADC state), that entity is described on the relevant page with the facts Lengau has supplied. Do not assume offices, members, branches, products or licences exist in a country unless those facts are stated on this website from Lengau's own records.
See Eswatini for the registered co-operative facts Lengau has published, and Legal Notice. Applicable law takes precedence.
