Governance & Transparency

Our foundation is built on the principle of 'Ke Mohluli' — we are victors through unity and structured accountability.

Community Ownership

The society belongs to its members. Decisions that affect the collective are handled through established governance channels.

Strict Compliance

As a registered NCR Credit Provider (NCRCP22999), we adhere to South African financial regulations and POPIA data protection laws.

Fund Integrity

Member contributions are managed using system-based allocations that prioritize community sustainability over corporate profit.

Fund Management Explanation

Every contribution made to Lengau People's Society is recorded in our centralized digital system. Funds are strictly allocated according to the following priorities:

  1. Community Support: Providing liquidity for member lending and socio-economic support.
  2. Social Responsibility: Allocations for community projects such as education support and food security (Maize Meal program).
  3. Operational Reserve: Ensuring the long-term stability and digital infrastructure of the society.

We maintain a strict separation between member contributions and operational funds to ensure absolute transparency.

Decision-Making Process

The society operates under a multi-tier governance structure that includes a Board of Directors, Regional Coordinators, and Member Representatives. Major constitutional changes are subject to member notification and transparent review.

Transparency First

Annual reporting and member dashboards provide real-time visibility into your personal contributions and participation status.

Ethics Committee

A dedicated panel oversees compliance with our internal ethics code and the National Credit Act.
