Lengau People’s Society is built on the principle of unity, discipline, and collective financial empowerment.
This model originates from traditional stokvel systems used by our ancestors to support one another within communities.
The Society operates through member contributions, internal lending, and shared surplus—guided by agreed rules and obligations.
📜 1. INTRODUCTION
Lengau People’s Society is an inheritance-based stokvel system rooted in African traditions of mutual support, discipline, and collective financial growth.
The Society exists to empower members through structured saving, internal lending, and shared surplus—guided by agreed rules and obligations.
2. NATURE OF THE SOCIETY
Lengau People’s Society is not a bank, not an investment scheme, and does not provide financial products to the public.
The Society operates as a member-based financial community where individuals contribute funds, lend to one another, and share surplus generated within the system.

Members support one another through structured contributions and responsible participation, preserving and modernizing the traditional stokvel system used by our ancestors.
🎯 4. MAIN OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of Lengau People’s Society is to encourage members to save money, build financial discipline, and achieve a sustainable lifestyle.
Through consistent participation, members improve their financial standing and access structured opportunities within the Society.
5. HOW THE SOCIETY OPERATES
All financial activities within Lengau People’s Society are conducted internally among members.
• Collects member contributions
• Facilitates internal lending between members
• Generates surplus through participation
• Distributes value within the community
No external investments are made on behalf of members.
🧾 6. MEMBER OBLIGATIONS
All members of Lengau People’s Society are required to:

All benefits are earned through participation, not entitlement.

Members participate in the Society through structured tiers based on contribution levels. These tiers determine participation level, lending access, and qualification for opportunities.
Bronze
Monthly: R200 – R400
Lending: From R1,000 – R10,000+
Entry level for new members. Build discipline and begin accessing small funding.
Silver
Monthly: R500 – R1,000
Lending: From R11,000 – R20,000+
Active members with increased access to internal funding and financial growth.
Gold
Monthly: R2,000 – R5,000
Lending: From R40,000 – R100,000+
Qualified members demonstrating strong consistency. Eligible for vehicle and property pathways.
Elite
Monthly: R6,000+
Lending: From R110,000+
Community-ready members eligible for major initiatives and high-value asset participation.
8. ELIGIBILITY FOR MAJOR OPPORTUNITIES
Access to major opportunities such as vehicles, property, business support, and other high-value initiatives is strictly limited to qualifying members.
Only members within the Gold and Elite tiers may be considered for these opportunities.

Eligibility does not guarantee approval.
All qualifying members must undergo an affordability and assessment process to determine their suitability within group buying or funding categories.
This ensures sustainability, fairness, and responsible financial participation within the Society.

⚖️ 13. GOVERNANCE, ETHICS & MEMBER CONDUCT
13.1 Purpose
This section establishes standards of conduct, transparency, and accountability for all members of Lengau People’s Society to protect unity, trust, and the integrity of the Society.
13.2 Respect, Unity & Non-Discrimination
All members shall treat one another with respect, dignity, and fairness.
Lengau People’s Society operates across South Africa and the SADC region. No member, culture, tradition, language, or region shall be favored or undermined.
Discrimination, exclusion, arrogance, or cultural dominance is not permitted.
13.3 Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

- 🚫 Undermining leadership, portfolios, or fellow members
- 🚫 Harassment, intimidation, or disrespectful communication
- 🚫 Misrepresentation of Society activities or benefits
- 🚫 Any conduct that damages unity, trust, or the reputation of the Society
13.4 Ideas, Innovation & Intellectual Contribution
All ideas contributed within Lengau People’s Society belong to the collective unless otherwise agreed.
Members must acknowledge contributions and may not present another member’s idea as their own.
Collaboration is encouraged, and credit must be shared fairly to support collective growth.
13.5 Roles, Portfolios & Accountability
Members assigned to portfolios must execute their responsibilities with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Other members must respect these roles and provide constructive input through proper channels rather than public criticism or undermining behavior.
13.6 Transparency & Information Sharing
Lengau People’s Society commits to transparency in its operations:
- • Meeting notices shall be communicated in advance
- • Minutes and reports shall be shared with members
- • Key decisions and updates shall be documented and accessible

💰 14. SURPLUS DISTRIBUTION & SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION
14.1 Principle
Lengau People’s Society operates on the principle of sustainability, discipline, and community upliftment.
Members who access internal lending and receive surplus are required to contribute back into the system to ensure continued growth and social impact.
14.2 Mandatory Re-Contribution
Upon receiving surplus from any lending activity, members are required to allocate a portion of the principal amount as follows:
- 5% of the principal amount must be re-contributed into the monthly stokvel contribution
- 1% of the principal amount must be allocated to Lengau Social Responsibility (LSR)

Failure to adhere may affect future eligibility for lending, tier progression, and participation in major opportunities.
