Why Lengau develops entrepreneurs

Lengau supports local businesses, agricultural enterprises and spaza shops so members can create income, not only consume.

Lengau’s public story includes business support, agricultural focus, and spaza-shop integration — especially in rural and Free State communities.

In 2025 the Society recorded support and funding for more than 547 businesses across South Africa, with emphasis on agriculture and spaza enterprises. That milestone sits on the About page as a completed year of work, not a slogan.

Entrepreneur development is how savings become jobs, shops, and family income. It is also why Lengau talks about producers, not only consumers.
